It’s All Hands In! Join Us in the Fight for Health, Dignity, and Justice in the Nail Salon Industry
Nail salon workers will be in Albany to call on state legislators to sign on to the Nail Salon Minimum Standards Council Act! The crisis of low pay, wage theft, and unsafe conditions in the nail salon industry must be addressed immediately and we're demanding that New York State's legislators make it a priority. When we lift up immigrant women workers, we lift up our communities and local economies.
It's "All Hands In" as nail salon workers and their allies take to the streets in NYC to set the entire industry on a path towards justice and sustainability, where workers’ rights are respected, consumer health is protected, and salon owners no longer feel that they have to engage in illegal and exploitative practices to stay in business.
